About

In 1975, Dr. Andrew Peterson opened the Enderlin Veterinary Service in a storefront armed with just a truck and an exam table. Four years later, he opened the Enderlin Veterinary Clinic on Hwy 46. Forty-three years later, Dr. Sara Fridrych became the owner to continue the legacy of high quality care our clients know and love.

When Dr. Fridrych is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially Joel (husband) and Tacy (daughter).  Her favorite pastimes are horseback riding in nearby State Parks and Forests, spending time outdoors with her daughter and animals, and relaxing by a bonfire.  Dr. Fridrych and her family live with their dogs (Bingo, Merle, Crumpet, and Cupcake), cats (Sassy, Prince Rex, Pumpkin), horses (Mojo, Shorty, Drifter, Pony Patch, Lacy, Pecos, Eno/Ben), rabbits, goats (Saffy and Dashy) and bottle calves they raise to finish and for Tacy to show in 4-H.

Karen Schimming, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Karen has been a staple of the Enderlin Veterinary Clinic since 1978.  She is a member of North Dakota State University's first graduating class of the Veterinary Technology program.  She makes the clinic run as smoothly as possible every day.  When she isn't here, she enjoys herding her eight grandchildren, while her husband Rick cares for their small herd of cattle.  She is active in the Enderlin community and her church and she often has stories about her cats. Karen is the bright ray of sunshine on a dark cloudy day!

Monte McCleary, Licensed Veterinary Technician

Monte graduated from a veterinary technology program in Rapid City, SD and joined our practice in 1993.  He is our go-to man with all things livestock as well our resident fix-it-man.  However, he also has a gentle hand and a lot of patience for our dog and cat patients when he's called upon.  He balances his clinic duties with his own small farm of cattle, horses, hens, and a few quail with help from his wife Kim, and his three children Lane, Jaeden, and Jacquelyn.  He is also a certified brand inspector and experienced in artificial insemination for cattle.
